I have tried to draw the character for the character walk really carefully in order for neatness, I plan to carry on drawing this way and then shoot the walk on doubles. I tried to make the characters belly bounce as he walked to emphasize his weight. I am quite pleased with this first part of the walk and aim to keep it neat and tidy as I continue.

Character Walk- Steps 2
This is a bit more of the steps animation, I am not happy with the way the character moves his head, I aimed to get a sweeping head movement as he moves his head from side to side, I am also unhappy with the way the character moves when he reaches the steps, he stretches his leg and a knee isn't present, this will prove hard when trying to animate him pushing off to walk up the stairs. The arm also shrinks as it moves down to his side, and the head is constantly changing, also the stairs seem to mysteriously grow, I am going to have to re-do all of these mistakes in order for the animation to be at a good standard.

Character Walk- Steps
This is part of my character walk, here the character is walking towards the steps, I tried to incorporate a head swing to make the character look content and happy as he walked, however the frames for the when the head turned away werent drawn correctly, therefore I'm going to have to re draw the heads for those frames, I hope to make the character unsure of the stairs and quite cautious when climbing them.

Character Walk- Balloon
This is a brief outline of how the character will encounter the balloon in the character walk, watching this I discovered that the character just grabs the balloon as he walks past it, I need to add some character to the scene (such as the character stopping and getting a good look at what he has just seen) I then need to animate how the character is walking now that it has found a balloon as it must have an affect on the characters walk, I will modify this walk so that the character walks in a different way, I also need to add more frames of the character walking with the balloon and then think of a way of moving onto the next scene of the walk.

Life drawing 360 animation
In the life drawing class we went around the room moving to the left and in each chair we drew the model from a different angle, we kept doing this until we got back to our own seats, I have since then line tested my frames and ended up with a 360 degree pan of the model laying down. I am quite surprised at how this has turned out.
Character Walk- Progress so far
I wanted to test the character walk to see how it looked so far, From this test I think I might start with a different object, I shot this walk on doubles to slow the characters walk down therefore suiting the character due to his size. However timing the animation to 24fps I forgot to add a frame to compensate for the 25 fps frame rate. I need to make sure I keep the floor straight along with the shape of the character which needs to be consistent throughout!

Character Walk- Initial Walk
This is my Character for the character walk part of the unit. In this animation I just made an initial walk cycle, i tried to experiment and see what it would look like with an actual character walking. I found that it was better for me to set it at 12 fps as the character was walking at a much better pace which suited his character, I plan on animating the belly as the body bounces up and down with the walk. I can then include the 3 items the character has to interact with.

Lip Sync 3rd attempt- Flash Version
Here is my third attempt at the lip sync I made this one using flash, Again I need to add a facial expression and make the eyebrows move, The eyes close on this one, I am quite pleased with this, I can now work on this as a Flash version, I found this easier and quicker than drawing the character out on a light box. Overall i think this is a good animation and something I can easily go back to and work on for improvements.
Lip Sync: 2nd Attempt
This is my second attempt at the lip sync, this time I tried to include a tongue and facial expressions, such as the eye brows moving up. I think the basic mouth shapes work well, but the movement of the eyebrows isn't fluid enough and therefore isn't convincing. The head seems to wobble like the 1st attempt. Other than that i am pleased with the rest of the animation.

Lip Synch Character Designs
These are my Character Designs for the lip synch, they include a stylized Lion character and Gollum, in these designs, I aimed to capture the mouth shapes for the vowels: A, E, I, O, U and the most important constanants: B, M, P, F, T, V

Lip Synch First Attempt
This is my first attempt at the Lip Synch, my character is a stylised lion. I wanted to include tongue and teeth in my lip synch. I tried to exaggerate the mouth on various parts, I am pleased with this for a first try, I have noticed various changes throughout the animation such as the nose shape and size and the eyes. These are obviously going to be improved with further attempts.

Ball Bounce 5
This is my 5th Ball Bounce, I have improved on a previous version but making sure the ball has a consistant shape and size, I have also included the squash and stretch technique, I am pleased with this ball bounce, I think I have successfully improved on the previous one by making the changes mentioned above.
Walk Cycle 3
Here is my third walk cycle with the arms included, I am pleased with the way the character bobs as they walk, i also think there is a good rythm to the arms as the character walks, Overall I am very pleased with this walk cycle and i think it is a big improvement from my previous attempts.

Walk Cycle 3- No arms
This is my third walk cycle, working from the last one, i changed both the frames when the character steps down, and the crossover frames in order to include more of a bob into the walk this time around.
With the frame where the character is stepping down i made sure that the body was lower by stretching the legs further therefore lowering the body altogether, for the crossover i made sure that the body was higher altogether whilst making sure that the highest point of the character was when it pushes off to step again.
I am pleased with the outcome of this walk, all i need to do now is improve on and add the arms.
Ball Bounce 4
This is a 4th ball bounce however it is terrible, the only good thing is how i have kept the ball at a consistent shape and size throughout, however i have forgotten the arc and trajectory of the ball, therefore it has a very stiff appearance and doesn't look very good. overall i am not pleased with this at all!

Walk Cycle 2
This is my second attempt at the Walk Cycle, I tried to keep the character in the same place throughout the animation, making sure that the body didn't jerk forward and that the head and other parts of the body didnt change shape or size, However in concentrating in keeping the characters head and other parts the same shape/size I have reduced the bob in the walk. I am quite pleased with the way the arms move. I now need to see what this will look like with more of a bob in the walk.

Walk Cycle key frames- Line Test
This is my Walking Cycle line test. This only consists of the key frames. I still need to add the "inbetweener" frames, there is a slight change in length of one of legs during the animation and a slight bob in the walk. Overall I am pleased with my first attempt at a walk cycle.

3rd attempt at the bouncing ball exercise
This is my 3rd attempt at the ball bounce, i tried to keep the shape and size consistent throughout by using a template. Although I have noticed a slight change in the ball during the animation. I added more frames than the 2nd attempt. Again i still think there is a slight issue with the timing, but other than that i think it is a slight improvement from the 2nd attempt.
2nd attempt at the bouncing ball exercise
And this is my 2nd attempt at the bouncing ball exercise, This one had more frames than the last one, Again i need to get the hang of the timings. I have added a squash and stretch for the bounce of the ball. I want to try and keep a consistent shape and size for the ball and improve the timings and bounce.
1st attempt at the bouncing ball exercise
This is my first attempt at the bouncing ball exercise, it doesn't run as smooth as id like it too, I need to add more frames. A few issues with the timing as there is a varied speed and frames jump too far apart from each other near the start of the animation. I also need to add a squash and stretch for the bounce/impact of the ball.
